The Shield Target has our patented Front Hanging Net design that eliminates almost all ricochets and also allows the target to last for years before needing any replacement parts.
The Shield Target has a strike zone grid that is 17" wide like a home plate width, and includes a 3" border on each side to give a pitcher the perfect visual of just catching the corners for a strike or purposely throwing a couple inches off the strike zone to have a hitter swing at a pitch that is not a strike.
It also comes with a target of a fielding glove on the backside so that it is perfect for catchers to train throwing down to second base and working on pickoff plays at 1st or 3rd base.
There are many color options for the 3" border so that it can be changed to match your facility or school’s colors!
